the location was quite convenient. the steam room and pool were decent (i appreciate the availability of these facilities). parking was available right outside the hotel.
i found the lack of air conditioning to be a significant issue. the room became uncomfortably hot. there was also noise from other guests late into the night, a distraction to rest.

poor pastrytired carpets
I had booked a room expecting a certain level of service, but housekeeping was nonexistent . I left the card on the door, requesting service, but it was ignored. Breakfast delivery was subpar. A juice, fruit, yogurt, and a pastry were left outside the door in the morning. The pastry was especially poor. Sadly, it seems maintenance is lacking, as the carpets in the corridors and the paintwork are very tired.

The staff were friendly, this I CANNOT deny.
The noise levels at night were AWFUL. People were constantly slamming doors. I reported it but nothing really changed. The doors all have those closer mechanisms, but they only work if people actually bother to use them properly, which, predictably, they didn't.
